1. The introduction of the team
Innovation research team of membrane & electrode materials in advanced batteries was established in 2004 under the financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 3 projects from Yunnan province. The research interests are mainly focused on the preparation, characterization and structure-performance relationship of the membrane as well as the electrode in fuel cell, lithium ion battery and so on.
The team consists of 2 professors, 2 associated professors and 1 lecture, and all the membranes are PhD with a mean age of about 36 years old. The research of this team are supported by several national and province projects with 2 millions yuans. Up to now, 150 papers and one book have been published, and 6 patents have been authorized.

2.1 Team director
Prof. & Dr Hongying Hou is a doctoral supervisor. She has worked in Faculty of Material Science and Engineering, Kunming University of Science and Technology as a high-level talent of Yunnan province since 2012. She acquired a doctor degree from Dalian Institute of Physical and Chemical, Chinese Academic Science in 2009, and then she went to France for postdoctoral work under the financial support of Europe Union Frame 7th Project (FCH-JU) 2008 “LoLiPEM”). Up to now, she has presided over or participated in some important projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High Tech Development Plan Fund ( 863 plan) and Europe Union Frame 7th Project. 80 papers have been published in the international journals, among which 50 papers were indexed by SCI and EI database. The total incitation times is 800 and H factor is 14. Prof. Hou finished one chapter of monograph about graphene science and applied 15 patents, in which 2 patents have been authorized. Based on these fruitful academic achievements, she has been invited to review the manuscripts for the international journal many times, and her postgraduates have also acquired national scholarships many times.
