This team is committed to research on new functional materials of precious metals(Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Os, Ru)and rare metals(W, Mo, Ta, Hf, Re, Nb), and focuses on technology application of them. The materials of precious and rare metals have very excellent physical and chemical properties as indispensable “vitamin” for modern industry and science. These support the development of high technology in the contemporary era. The research fields in our team includes electronic photoelectric material of precious and rare metals, special alloys of precious and rare metals, advanced preparation technology of material of precious and rare metals, CVD technology of precious and rare metals. The projects are emphasized in our team are preparation and application of high purity precious and rare metals powder, research on preparation of precious and rare metals’ organic precursors for CVD, new integrative technology of metallurgy and processing for precious and rare metals.
